Was out in L.A. with the kids for a little trip and looking for a place for breakfast. After some searching found Griddle Cafe and wow! We were so happy we did. Our server was really nice and helpful. The food and coffee are amazing! When my husband and I each ordered a coffee our server gave us the choice of light, medium, or dark roast. Then she brought us each our own french press! We were really impressed and the coffee was very good. They have so many amazing pancake and french toast options it was hard to choose. Be warned, their pancakes are HUGE! They are practically bigger than the plate. They come in a stack of three but you can ask for just one or two. Unless you can eat a lot or want to take some home then just one will be plenty. I got a stack of two of the pancakes with fresh strawberries inside and Frosted Flakes and topped with a huge dollop of fresh whipped cream. It was very good! My daughters got the Nutella French Toast and the Cinnamon Sugar Chocolate Chip Pancake. Bot were very good as well. Hubby got a scramble with bacon and potatoes and jalapenos that he enjoyed very much. I totally recommend this place!

Wow! I understand why this place has so many reviews. Came here last week. Parking, I got super lucky and was able to park in front of restaurant. I wasn't too sure if I needed to pay the meter but I did for an hour. It came out to $1 so I'm most definitely not complaining lol No wait, I got seated around this (maybe an old bar) circle looking thing almost immediately. Food I got the Poached Papas y Benedict and wow I have to say, their portion size are massive!! I looked around at other people's plates and the pancakes look like something that came out of a Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs movie. With that said, I strongly believe the prices are reasonable with their portion sizes. My eggs Benedict were really good. Felt super hearty. I enjoyed eating the potatoes skins and turning it into mini taco potatoes lol My partner order some omelet which he mentioned it was the best omelet he has ever had. Ambiance, it's a packed house, but servers are constantly walking around, checking on patrons and what not. I will say. This is the most I've ever spent on breakfast but just take the leftovers home and you'll have enough for a couple more days lol

The pancakes tastes even better than they look! definitely a shareable size for 3-5 people. The French press coffee is really tasty, perfect with the sweetness of the pancakes. The service was great! We got seated after about 20 minutes. It super cozy, we had the corner booth gave us a great view of the all the magic definitely gives you breakfast diner vibes.

The wait was long, but totally expected for a Saturday. And worth it. Yes, the pancakes are huge. I ordered a single All About Da Bass pancake and the shrimp tacos. The tacos were okay, but quite soggy bottoms from the pineapple salsa and they ended up kinda disintegrating while I was biting into them. But really who cares because, for me, it was all about that pancake. Holy hell, it was amazing. I would go back just for the pancake and forget anything else. Except for maybe the French press coffee. That was lovely too!

This is my fourth time here. It is a cute unique spot that enjoy visiting when I'm in the area and searching for a brunch spot. The pancakes are huge and delicious! The whipped cream is amazing, you can tell it's homemade and they add an abundance of it. This was my first time trying the hoagie omelette and it was very good and a perfect savory balance to the pancakes. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a seat and although the place can get a little crowded it adds to its character. My only complaint is the mimosa was very small and wasn't worth getting at all. Other than that everything was delicious and I will be coming back again.

The Griddle cafe has a lot of menu options and HUGE pancake portions. The Oreo pancakes were really tasty. Eggs were fluffy and pork sausage was good and savory. I'll definitely come back to try different pancakes. Servers are friendly and service is quick. Tequila sunrise was tasty but not strong enough even though I asked for it to be stiff. Parking is easy in the rite aid parking lot.

Had a plan to go to another breakfast food place and found this restaurant close by. When you drive up, there are people outside waiting and out at tables eating. I immediately thought, all these people crammed in here lol we waited for about 20 mins and were texted to check in. The waitresses/waiters were constantly on the run. The building is architecturely weird... it's a long location with hidden rooms in the back for larger families. The front tables can fit 5 and under parties. For eggs plates: we ordered the omelet my soul with chicken and fruit. The omelet soul with shrimp with potatoes and a baked potato omelet. For pancakes: good heavens! Our eyes were much bigger than our stomachs. The golden ticket taste just like banana pudding, the cinnamon french toast with cream cheesse and strawberries on the side. It was goood and the peanut butter pancake taste like reeses. I had to stop because I was too full.

The Griddle is a staple in Hollywood. I wish I wasn't dieting because I really wanted a huge stack of pancakes. I love The Griddle and it brought back great memories of my time living there.

One of the best brunch places in Los Angeles! Came here around 11 am and had no issue getting a table. Thankfully there was no line and we were quickly sat. The restaurant has a cozy diner feel to it. While the space inside isn't massive, there's a good number of seats inside and outside of the restaurant. We had no issue finding street parking even though it's around busy streets. The menu is massive with multiple options for different types of pancakes, breakfast skillets, sides and other options. I didn't get to partake but the bottomless mimosas are such a good price and the size of the cups seemed a good amount. We ordered the red velvet pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries with a side of organic sausage and onions. The portions are massive and we definitely had food to take home. Designedly check it out if you're in the area!
